A CRM that speaks in lots, not just leads.

NatPilot is customer software for the food and beverage trade — for growers, cooperatives, processors and distributors, where a deal is a volume, a product is a batch, and every shipment carries a certificate that expires.

The problem

General CRMs were built to sell software, not perishables.

A sales team in agrifood does not close a deal and move on. They quote against a harvest window that has not happened yet. They hold a lot for a buyer who is still tasting the sample. They chase a certificate that lapses two weeks before the vessel sails. Then the claim arrives, and someone has to trace it back to a specific batch from a specific grower.

None of that fits a pipeline built around seats and renewals. So the real work leaks into spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads and one person's memory — and the moment that person is on holiday, the account is exposed.

What NatPilot does differently

Volume, not seats

Quotes in the units you trade

Price per kilo, tonne, case or pallet. Multi-currency. Freight and packaging assumptions attached to the quote, so nobody re-derives the landed cost by hand.

Seasonal

A pipeline aware of the calendar

Opportunities carry a delivery window, not just a close date. Forecast by campaign and variety instead of forcing a season into four equal quarters.

Traceable

Documents that follow the customer

Specs, certificates and analysis reports live on the account and the lot. Expiry dates are tracked and flagged before they become a blocked container.

Who it is for

Small and mid-sized food businesses that trade on relationships.

  • Producer organisations and cooperatives selling to retail and wholesale buyers
  • Fresh produce exporters and importers running seasonal programmes
  • Ingredient and commodity traders managing specs across many origins
  • Processors and private-label manufacturers with recurring contract volumes
  • Distributors whose commercial team is between 3 and 50 people

Status

Not available yet. Beta opens to a small group.

NatPilot is in active development. We are not taking orders and there is no public sign-up. What we are doing is selecting a limited number of food businesses to shape the first release — people who will tell us plainly where it is wrong.

If that is you, the request form takes about two minutes.

Product

Every screen assumes you sell food.

The scope below is what the first release is being built to cover. It is a plan under construction, not a shipped feature list — details will move as beta members push back on them.

Scope · first release

Accounts

Buyers described by how they actually buy

Beyond contacts and notes: accepted packaging formats, label requirements, incoterms, payment terms, minimum shelf life on arrival, approved origins, and the buyer's own quality contact. The things a new salesperson currently has to learn by getting them wrong once.

SpecsTermsApproved origins

Quotes

Pricing by volume, format and season

Build a quote in the unit you trade, with packaging and freight assumptions attached. Compare it against the last three deals with that buyer. Multi-currency, with the rate used recorded on the document rather than remembered.

Pipeline

Opportunities linked to available volume

An opportunity carries a delivery window and a requested volume. As lots become available, link and reserve them, and see immediately what is committed, what is uncovered, and what is sitting unsold with a shortening shelf life.

Delivery windowsReservationsCoverage view

Samples

The sample loop, tracked end to end

Requests, dispatch, tracking numbers, tasting feedback and the decision that followed — held against the account so the next campaign starts from what the buyer said last time, not from zero.

DispatchFeedbackConversion

Documents

Certificates with expiry dates that matter

Organic, GLOBALG.A.P., IFS, BRCGS, health and phytosanitary certificates, analysis reports and spec sheets — attached to the account, the product or the lot, with alerts before a document lapses rather than after a container is held.

Expiry alertsVersion historyPer-lot attachment

Quality

Claims traced back to a batch

Log a non-conformity against the shipment, the lot and the customer. See the pattern across a season: which grower, which packhouse, which buyer, which defect — and what each claim cost.

Non-conformitiesRoot causeCost of claims

Reporting

Forecasts shaped like a campaign

Volume and margin by variety, origin, buyer and week. Year-on-year against the same point in last season, because week 38 compares to week 38 — not to the calendar quarter it happens to fall in.

Season-over-seasonMargin by originWeekly volume

Boundaries

What NatPilot is not.

  • Not an ERP. It does not run your accounting, payroll or general ledger.
  • Not a warehouse system. It does not manage racking, pick paths or stock movements on the floor.
  • Not a food-safety certification tool. It stores and monitors your certificates; it does not audit or issue them.
  • Not a marketplace. There is no trading exchange and no matching of buyers and sellers.

The intention is that NatPilot sits alongside those systems and handles the commercial relationship. Integration scope for the first release is one of the questions the beta group will help decide.

Beta program

Coming soon. A small group gets it first.

We are opening a private beta to a limited number of food and beverage businesses. Places are limited because each one gets direct time with the team building the product.

You get

Early access at no cost during the beta, a founding-customer rate afterwards, and direct influence on what gets built first.

We ask

Roughly one hour a month of honest feedback, and permission to watch how your team actually works — not how the manual says they should.

Roadmap · a sequence of dated phases

Phase 01

Discovery interviews

Structured conversations with commercial and quality teams across fresh produce, ingredients and processed food. Running now.

Phase 02

Closed alpha

Core accounts, quotes and pipeline in the hands of a handful of design partners. In progress.

Phase 03

Private beta

Invitations issued to the selected group. Documents, samples and quality modules join the product. Target: fourth quarter of 2026.

Phase 04

General availability

Open sign-up and published pricing. Timing depends on what the beta tells us; we would rather be late than ship something a food business cannot rely on.

Dates are targets for a product in development and may change.

Common questions

What does it cost during the beta?

Nothing. Beta participants use the product free for the duration of the programme, and we will publish pricing before anyone is asked to pay.

Where is our data held?

On managed infrastructure in the European Union, with each customer's data logically separated. The full data processing terms are provided to beta participants before any data is loaded.

Do we have to leave our current system?

No. Beta participants are expected to keep running whatever they use today. We would rather see NatPilot fail next to the spreadsheet than not see it at all.

Who is behind it?

EUSA Technologies LLC, a company registered in Delaware, United States. Details on the Company page.

Brand guidelines

The identity, and the rules that keep it consistent.

NatPilot's identity borrows from two worlds its customers already live in: the navigational instrument, and the printed document that travels with a shipment. Precision, legibility, and nothing decorative that could be mistaken for data.

Logo

NatPilot

The mark

A bearing ring with cardinal ticks, and a needle whose north half is a leaf. It reads as a compass at a glance and as agriculture on a second look — pilot and nature in one form. The leaf is the only element carrying the accent colour; the ring and counterweight sit in the neutral so the mark survives being printed in one ink.

Minimum size is 20 px on screen and 8 mm in print. Clear space on all sides equals the height of the ring's cardinal tick. The mark may be used alone once the full lockup has been established on a surface.

Misuse

  • Do not rotate the needle — it points north, and a tilted compass reads as a broken one.
  • Do not recolour the leaf outside the verdigris accent, or fill the ring.
  • Do not stretch, outline, add a drop shadow, or place the mark on a busy photograph.
  • Do not set the wordmark in any face other than the display serif, and never in all capitals.

Colour

One accent, used sparingly. Ochre is reserved for attention states in data — an expiring certificate, a lot at risk — and never used decoratively, so that when it appears it means something.

Verdigris light#4FC0A1Accent, dark theme

Neutrals are biased toward the accent hue rather than pure grey. Body text meets WCAG AA against its ground in both themes.

Typography

Display · headlines

Harvest windows, not quarters

Old-style serif. Tracking −2.2%, weight 400. Sentence case, never all caps. Used for headlines and the wordmark only.

Body · running text

The commercial team quotes against a harvest that has not happened yet, and holds a lot for a buyer still tasting the sample.

System sans, 16 px, line height 1.6, measure capped near 65 characters.

Utility · labels & data

Incoterm · CIF ROT · Wk 38–44

Monospace, uppercase, tracking +14%. Field labels, reference numbers, status pills. Numerals set tabular wherever they align in a column.

Layout & tone

Structure

Hairlines, right angles

One-pixel rules and square corners throughout — the language of a bordereau, a spec sheet, a bill of lading. Sections are introduced by a monospace label sitting on a rule.

Motion

Only where it carries meaning

A progress bar may draw itself once, because it represents progress. Nothing else moves without reason, and everything respects reduced-motion preferences.

Voice

Plain, specific, unexcited

Name things the way the trade names them: lots, campaigns, incoterms, claims. State what is not built yet. Never a superlative where a number would do.

NatPilot — customer relationship management for the agrifood trade (in development)

Why we are building this

The software a food business runs on should know what food is.

Talk to a commercial team at a cooperative or an exporter and the same picture appears: a general-purpose CRM bought and abandoned, or never bought at all, and the real commercial memory living in one shared spreadsheet that everyone is afraid to reorganise.

It is not that these teams dislike software. It is that the software on offer asks them to describe a season as a set of quarterly deals, and a lot of perishable goods as a line item. The translation costs more than it saves.

NatPilot starts from the other end — from lots, windows, specs and certificates — and adds the customer relationship on top of that, rather than the other way round.
